I can't believe he's dissing Kendrick after dude looked out for him at Summer Jam. Papoose is my dude, but he should be bigger than this trendy attention-getting response bs.
I think the whole Kendric Lamar "Control" being "good for Hip Hop" or "saving Hip Hop" is a bunch of bullshit. First of all, it wasn't even a diss at nobody...and just because he name dropped some folks...how the fuck is that all of a sudden "saving Hip Hop?" People have been name dropping and throwing shots at each other since day 1. This is nothing new.
Most of the people dropping responses are the one who WEREN'T mentioned. The idea is that he mentioned all the big names among the new rap cats who are relevant on the mainstream, so these guys are just mad at the notion that they aren't relevant. Cassidy/Papoose responding sounds like some Rap version of "Dancing with the Stars..." trying to remain relevant by responding to some trendy bullshit. I'm honestly disappointed---not in his verse, but at the fact he even responded at all. Smh.
