I've used nitric oxide as pre-workout before. It worked pretty well for me, but I only used it when I wanted really intense workouts. I think if you use stuff like that on every workout, your body sort of gets used to it and it loses its effectiveness. And tbh, most of these supplements have some negative side effect even if its something as little as dehydration because its in powder form. Pre-workout drinks can also lead to heart problems cause they make you heart work that much harder.
