@InCizion You're totally right hispanics, particularly Puerto Ricans and Dominicans had a very large role in the roots of hip hop starting in the South Bronx… yeah I got ya, my bad for the omissions. And yes Jews and others were involved a bit later than that as well.

Yet, about 70% of recorded hip hop record sales are to white male teenagers? Look it up, its been published even in academic articles. I'm not saying it has to do with color, but it certainly has to do with Civil Rights an inequality between classes and races…

so wtf? How does it help to come up and brag about money when some people don't have enough?

I am saying the problem is unconscious rap that believes that race is not part of hip hop, because it is… DIRECTED at EtH-> You think you're hardcore because you listen to gangster rap? Some people live the gimmick that others fake… and from what I can tell, living it isn't easy…. and certainly not worth rapping about unless you're in it for money, so fuck gangster rap… its garbage being sold to garbage.

If you're into reading about this @InCizion then I also suggest the book , "Cant Stop Won't Stop." by Jeff Chang
