I wouldn't say it goes down like that Jason. If I was in a situation now, say a hostage situation, and the guy was taking a woman, I might say "Take me as a hostage instead". Not even that noble a thing to do, but in the eyes of her family members it would be. So if it went down like that, the guy might have just been doing the right thing over wasting his own life.
