HAHAHA! A lot of valid points here...

Dave you can't expect industry shit here man... that's a bit snooty... first off, labels have the money on hand to just deposit into a record when the sound is not quality... even underground industry shit... when someone has a record deal, there is an insane amount of Q n A and checks and balances.... 100 different pairs of professional ears of a TEAM will hear a single song on heavy rotation before they consider it ready... it will go through a list of experts, producers, and executives... they have a TEAM of mixers, engineers, and producers with mastering abilities, to diminish any audio infractions and add that hot sound, they even have an endless selection of beats from industries top dollar producers that would charge an up and comer 40 grand; industry cats get it free of charge on the label bill if they signed to the same label... most these famous rappers don't even worry about shit when they drop... some work all day, some work 15 minutes a day... they drop their vocals all scratchy, fucked up, and punch in where-ever, doesn't matter... because that TEAM got them covered.
Us underground emcees don't have a fucking team; it's just me, my rhymes, a cup of coffee, acid pro, and a condenser mic. You have to keep that shit in mind when you listen to these tracks... you have to listen to them in context of the forum they are in... now, given that adversity against me/us cuz I'm/we recording with shitty equipment and building it solely with thine own hands, shouldn't that make my/our shit (if at least) almost on par with those professionals with endless label dollars and a TEAM behind them? My shit is at least close to the sound they achieve, and it's built from literally dirt.
This is also how you can tell the blood, sweat, and tears... where is the product coming from, and how professional did they make it? It sounds like a clutter of pots and pans until I mix the mother fucker for four hours... You can listen to the sound and see---he put blood, sweat, and tears into that shit... cuz this dude, is, a, nobody... that almost sounds like somebody!!!

FreezyCT, I do not care if anyone respects me... what I wrote here was in context of the new class, for the new class, not from the new class for myself, lol. It's whatever with me; I'm a grown ass man that seeks NO validation... I know my shit is better now; I know it in my heart, and that's what matters... the effort is more though, so it shouldn't be doubted, but... I don't see validation as necessary. The problem is, I remember a great time when I did! Of course, it's an immature quality, but it's something we all go through and grow out of. The entire purpose of this site is truly validation, "being the best and having people see you as the best"... u do have to show and prove, and I'm not arguing that... but a community base is essential for Letsbeef to progress, not just Letsbeef, but the little people within Letsbeef. I'm just ashamed and shocked, that with all this underground talent, by 2013-no one from this site has blew up BLEW UP. The odds are actually in our favor here too if you examine the big picture, there is just poison in the well is all, so no one can flourish.
Also, I'm still only 26, so I'm not some old geezer that has completely passed the baton, lmao, I just don't see the same networking that their used to be, and even back then we needed to make some changes... I just think with the potential for collabing and networking (we all have something to offer), the tracks, plus battles, plus the producers u can find on here: this site still/even moreso, has an abundance of untapped power.
Shameless Pitch for Self: New mixtape coming soon... and my new shit is so grown, and I buy my beats, so I personally feel it's a thousand times better than the old shit... I just take MORE chances cuz I don't give a fuck about placating to a specific niche any more...
but that baton still glued to my hand!
