In England people get more from claiming benefits (welfare) than they do working so they just do that. I was watching a programme the other day and these scrubs were complaining because they only got £1200 (1700$) a month FREE from the government (as well as a free house). Most people don't even get that from working a shop/restaurant type job 48 hours a week.
