@Fayz, it's not Japanese haiku regulations. It's English, seeing as the Japanese rule is 5-7-5, that doesn't apply to the English language: For example, if you were to translate a Japanese haiku (written in 5-7-5) it would come out with a different amount of syllables in English. So I'd imagine it's indifferent.
