Am I the only 1 who thinks it is time to move on?

I mean if this would have came up as an idea AT the time. I guess so. It's a little too far for me making an entire dedication tape. Is everyone going to rap about him? does someone have his accapellas stored on HD to remix into collabs? the timing and the thought of an entire tape being dedicated to him is not only off, it's taking it too far. Everybody has said their peace/goodbyes and what not. Does this really need to be brought up AGAIN? .. NOW? Months later?

Not just that but it seems a bit in poor taste. Everyone who knew him contributed AT the time of his passing in 1 way or another. And to make it a COMPETITION....? Just so a bunch of randoms from GFX who never knew him can try to win a prize? And that's not even mentioning the people who are making the tracks.

I hate to use this comparison because with all due respect, Biggie he is not, Pun he is not. BUT!

The aforementioned artists had their 1 outstanding tribute. That was legit and well timed. Missing you by Puffy n Faith was Dubs Tribute to NXT. I know the comparison is a lil extreme but you know what I'm saying. It was legit heartfelt and well timed. Anything after that is just tacky (especially so far down the line) insincere bandwagoning for me.

Leave the man be. Shits over. Move on.
