when youre lifting weight youre essentially tearing the muscle fiber and when it heals it heals back stronger and larger. whey / protein in general is important to repair muscle fibers and allow you train at max efficiency.. as far as gaining actual mass though..you can drink whey till your kidneys bleed and you wont grow.. your body can only process so much protein at one time.

Whats your take on like taking a break after workouts?
Like, do you think its an absolutely terrible idea to work like your arms and chest two days in a row? is that counter productive?
and I'm actually trying to maintain my size, but get more defined. I don't want to get like extremely jacked, just maybe a little more muscle mass, get leaner, maintain body weight.
i feel like my routine now is stable, but im mad open to pointers and tips.
