@ILLoKWENT™ vs @Path
http://www.letsbeef.com/battle_detai...n=tb&id=442864
ILLoKWENT™ Voted: Haphazard: 4 / jiegee: 3
Path Voted: Haphazard: 5 / jiegee: 6
To start off, I read the battle and I didn't think Haphazard won, so I think ILLoKWENT chose the wrong winner. From your expo, your reason seem to be based primarily on structure. You felt Haphazard came with better structure and advised jiegee to make his structure more like Hap's. To me, their structure was pretty much the same...the only difference was Haphazard typed his line by line, whereas jiegee had his lines running into each other with no clear way of distinguishing when a line begins or ends other than the flow. Neither one capitalized their multies or use demarcation slashes (/). In the battle itself, I felt jiegee was a bit more aggressive and that is where Path got it correct. They both were basic and I feel ILLoKWENT's rating was more accurate ( I would have given it a 3-3). Path, your rating was a bit high imo, but due to the fact that you chose the right winner and I didn't fully agree with ILLoKWENT's expo about the structure, Path gets my vote.

@TalkSick vs @vvvv
vvvv Voted: misscigar: 5 / Revan: 7
TalkSick Voted: misscigar: 2 / Revan: 5
I think both gave good expos in this one with the exception on a couple pointers. I didn't agree with vvvv's bit about the use of slashes taking up space or Revan's verse being over-decorated. I also think he rated both emcees a bit high for that particular battle. I've seen Revan go much harder than that, but I probably would have rated that battle 4-6 in Revan's favor. TalkSick's rating was more accurate, but 2 was a bit low for misscigar imo. I would have given him a 3 minimum. TalkSick gave a good expo, but I think some of what you were saying might have gone over misscigar's head judging from where he seems to be at skillwise. I think what he needed most is to know how to improve, and if you had given some examples, it would have benefited him more. Instead you pointed him to some battlers to read to improve certain aspects, but I think he would need to get a handle on some basic things first before he can even look at those battler's verses and know what to look for. He'd have to get a clear understanding of what wordplay is supposed to be first before he can read a NawkOut verse and understand what makes him so good at it and begin to emulate properly. But everything you said was on point. Like I said, you both gave adequate expos, but I'm giving my vote to TalkSick.
