ive had to do volunteer a lot myself, mostly for court but some just for something to do until they get the highschool kids who come in and need the hours to graduate, you dont understand the concept of the ghetto i think. there is no where to turn, nobody is hiring, nobody wants to meet anyone new. volunteer work or not, your not getting hired unless you know the person who owns the joint and odds are they still arent hiring. your stuck on welfare unless a fam member can hook you up with a real job. psst the real jobs still pay shit, its just enough to live paycheque to paycheque
