Ahhh, of course, drug dealing, that's the way out of this.
People aren't held down by the govenment or given unfair oppertunities. It's up to us to make our oppertunities. You live in the projects and have no money? There are people who want to be an actor so bad that they move to California and live out of their car. You have a roof over your head, you've already got more than they do. There are plenty of companies that will allow someone to work for free to get some experience. Don't buy stupid "hood" clothes, dress smart and whether you're black, white or whatever The Rock is, you'll be allowed to gain that work experience. What next? You have no criminal record cause you werent stupid enough to start drug dealing, you have work experience from a reputable company...now you can get yourself a job.
Some people don't want to go through this process, and that's their decision, but when it comes down to 'the struggle', they have no one to blame but themselves. I currently have no job, get €41 on welfare a week, no college degree, low leaving cert (or whatever the American thing is, SAT?) results and am living at home. I can't get a job anywhere because I have no experience. How many people claim "the government is keeping them down" in the exact same situations? Instead, I'm on my 3rd course, on my way to earning a high enough level cert as a Microsoft Master (gay name) and will be able to get into college on Back to Education Allowance when I turn 21. It's all about your outlook and if you want to sit around and complain that you're caught in the struggle, or if you want to get up and change your situation.

maybe in scotland or whatever you can be on welfare and student assistance
my motto is 'you cant make money if theres none around' hence why most people in the 'hood' are trapped. unemployment is skyhigh around here, you have to be fairly lucky to even get a job at fuckin McDick's, n its not like u can show up in a suit and say im ready to flip some burgers boss, they'll tell you to move on and hire some 60 year old broad... fuck man its all like 16 yr old girls or 60 yr old women who got all the jobs now, unless u get hired at one of the big 3 around here, your fucked. (big 3 = gm ford and chrystlers)
