I have a pretty good understanding of the internet, generating traffic, SEO, etc. Shit ya'll would never understand.
Not sayin I make better music than ya'll or this that and the 3rd. But ya'll dont have the know how to do what I do. In fact ya'll would have to pay somebody to promote your shit through different avenues. Thats how life works...You pay people so that they can do things that you can't do yourself. Otherwise you would've done it yourself.
With that said. If I decided to go down that route
I could make a YouTube page and hit 1,000 subscribers within its first week, probably a few thousand views on a music video in its first week
I could make a blog on a blog site, maybe create a twitter page that'll break 5,000 followers within its first week.
The internet is really a powerful tool. This is how all these new cats are comin up...Best believe that. Everything is digital now
They want niggas that can film their own videos, make their own music, produce their own shit...They're lookin for motivated/dedicated people with a sick ass work ethic and drive to achieve what they want
I apply this reasonin to everything, not just rap. You gotta differentiate yourself, be self-made, and work like a fuckin dog so you can eat like a king.
