You're right except employers can't pay under minimum wage. They do what you're saying but if their tips don't add up to enough to meet minimum wage employers MUST cover the difference. Basically you end up footing a percent of their paycheck. Fuck that.

There are plenty of other minimum wage workers that I don't have to pay a percent of their paycheck to use the services. If you want to donate to someone's livelihood that's fine, but how is it now something that's expected? Ridiculous.
