But I may drop a 10 on a UA or DaddiO battle because, in their field of competition, which is LB, they are among the best. So, if I was comparing what I've seen on here versus the artists that I actually listen to and bump, to me, that wouldn't be fair if I was rating based on that while those artists aren't competing here.
So, yes, you're right. I'm judging them based on what I've encountered on LB, and I feel like I should.
I agree with you that when someone is constantly rated in this way, it may give them an inflated ego, but not necessarily. I think it would depend on the person how they take it. I've been rated 8, 9, and 10 before, and I never took that to mean I must be on the level of a Rakim or Nas now. I took it as either that person rating me based on their own bell curve or telling me that I have the POTENTIAL to be an 8 or a 9.
Being blunt can help people sometimes (but not always) but so can seeing people from the viewpoint of their potential. Sometimes you gain a title or rating, and then you feel like you need to live up to it.

Why are you talking about Nas, Rakim, UA and Daddio?, the battle is between Savage and Dru, therefore you rate Savage and Dru. You can't compare whatever verse you read to "legends" on the site. You are a member of staff, you are supposed to be setting an example to all members by voting on each verse with realistic breakdowns and rating each verse accordingly. Quit it with that fucking bell curve shit too. Also been blunt will help everybody ALL the time. Nobody likes been taking for a fool or sugar coating anything, be straight with people so they know where there going wrong and how they can improve. I'm not bashing you for voting the way you did, I see it from almost every member on the site.

However, for a member of staff i would question your voting power due to your mentality. No offence.
