You'll also need a bittorrent client like uTorrent to open the torrent you download from sites like TPB. On TPB, look for green skulls in your search results. These are users who have a reputation for uploading clean, virus-free torrents. When you download is complete in uTorrent or whatever client you use, DO NOT OPEN THE SOFTWARE. Open the containing folder first, then scan it with whatever anti-virus software you have first...and if it comes out clean, then you may proceed to install it.
