You're buggin. Nas is consistent AND he's signed to a major. But from the music he puts out, you would swear he's indie because he has a lot of freedom over his projects.
Rewind was a story Nas told BACKWARDS. Even the dialogue is backwards.

That line should speak for itself...
Pronto, you, like a lot of young people...think rap is all about swag and punchlines or some corny shit similar to that.
Let me remind you that RAP is Rhythm & Poetry...and not many successfully complete the task of rapping better than Nas.
It's time you stop lookin for punchlines & catchy beats and look into the lyrics.
