yo im tellin you right now. pocket that 40-60k and get yourself musical equiptment.. don't even need that much tbh. you could even pay a producer to let you be a studio bitch for a week and show you the ropes. Save yourself the money dude. nowadays everything is at your fingertips
while that's true a degree or being able to call yourself a "professional" in something goes a long way too. You can make a career out of it and be one of the best at it

Or you can use what you learn and produce your own music and do your own studio work.. That's basically what I'm tryna do. if that fails then I find work in the field I got a degree in to get some steady income.

It's hit or miss to become that one dude that has a huge fanbase and can actually make money off rap. It really is..you gotta have that edge, the right focus, the right drive, the right mass appeal, timing...shits crazy

I been chillin for a minute only cuz I understand that everybody grows when they constantly practice at something. You gotta take time to develop a style to call your own, the topics you'll rap about, etc etc..
