- Do you think there's a limitation?
- There are limits with everything in life
- Does your "connection" have to be within reason?
- Of course it does. Smh
- In other words, is it possible to be too far-fetched?
- Yes. People be saying some outlandishly Forced/Vauge shit to make they WP work. They get props for it n it pisses me off
- If so, then where do you draw the line?
- Thats a hard 1 to call. It all depends on the person tbh. Some people have a sense when things are going to far and so know when to either draw the line or start from scratch. I feel too many don't though
- Do you take into account accents when you read a verse? (Not just accents that vary across America, but British accents and other International accents too)
- Allway's I rap out loud first and formost. Alot of these texters don't so don't take accents into account. You ALWAYS have to take accents into account (Especially if you know the person)
- Does your wordplay in a text verse have to be transferable to an audio verse?
- FUCK YES IT DOES... YES YES YES!!
- Is it ok to use played wordplays if they're a part of a bigger wordplay? (eg: using the likes of in bread/inbred as a part of a more complex play like Sicily view/sis'll leave you, etc)
- FUCK YA BAR CHIZZY
- Is it better to be complex, or simplistic? (no inbetweens)
- Individual cases. Sometimes the more simple approach can make the W/P hit harder where as the more complex approach can lead to a more waterd down final punch or even a complete loss of translation. You have to take your readers into account. You can indulge yourself but if you go to far you will suffer as a result in terms of getting a readers vote.
