**UPDATED**

i feel your pain Dos - i was in the same situation in '08...i ended up picking detroit for every week hoping theyd win atleast once...we all know how that ended..

this week, i expect to see a bunch of good, close games...as i stated earlier, looking voer the scheduel briefly i didnt see any sure wins, which isnt good from a picks standpoint - by from a fan's, these are the weeks we pray for...ALOT of potential this week

couple things im looking for...can Carolina finally put it all together and give a legit contendor a run for their money? - not only that, but pull out a win? theyve been close in nearly all of their games, and going against Atlanta - whos been iffy - might present them with the best opportunity...the 49ers are traveling to Motown for a big showdown - but can Detroit stop the run?...i have a lunch bet with a Niners fan from work, so theres extra incentive for me lol...espn and the madden simulation both favor the Lions, but they all present the same scenario - stop Frank Gore and the Lions win...fingers crossed

stat predictions.....Calvin Johnson - 9 receptions, 110 recieving yards, 2 touchdowns...Minnesota defensive line - 5 sacks on Jay Culter...Brandon Marshall - 4 receptions, 60 recieving yards, 0 touchdowns (im calling his "beast mode" bluff)
