Yeah big time. None of those big name fighters went to a MMA gym. They all went to like specific classes and learned under the catagorical masters. Evangelista Cyborg for example. I heard in his fight with Nick that he was a Gracie Blackbelt, and dude is a complete slugger. If a Gracie Blackbelt gets arm barred first second they go to ground, what does an average jiu jitsu fighter do? I'd love to do it, even just in the gym if not in the cage. I imagine the full MMA training to be awesome as you work every part of your body.
