Well what they can do is make it a priviledge to battle for money, ie; VIP membership. Lets say Exclusive is $5 a month, you could make VIP $10 a month..Of course there'd have to be all kinds of legal work to be done, a Terms Of Service & you'd have to agree to the conditions and what-not so that LB could incorporate PayPal or some bullshit like that as a payment processor...but lets dive in
MONEY BATTLES; WAGER CONCEPT:
Just like you drop 8,16,32,64 lines.. You could also choose.. $1 (for the broke ass people) $5, $10 $20 and maybe even $50 for the big ballers that talk alot of shit.
I know this site's activity would sky rocket...as well as people's hunger because $$ is at stake... It'd be the birth of a pay-per-view like battle system where you'd see your fantasy battle of ____ vs _____ because money is their motivation to win.
CREW CONCEPT:
Or I was thinking for the crew thing; you could make it like a Sports team. Every crew has a budget; ie $100,000,000 "LB Dollars" .... It costs money to make the crew, the capos would be paid more than the members, and leaders more than the capos...& You can "sign" people for a certain amount... ie; "Bla has agreed to join your crew for 3 months under the condition that he/she gets paid _______ LB Dollars" so, its like a contract. & They can't leave the crew unless you boot them or they're up for free-agency.
What do you do with the money your crew pays you? The "LB Dollars" would allow you to customize your profile more. Your username color, ability to change your username, buy shit for your Emcee, maybe even buy Exclusive or VIP membership (of course these would be the most expensive perks & it'd take ridiculously long to get enough "LB Dollars" to afford these)...And then the battles have pay-outs, like for every win you get $1,000 "LB Dollars" and maybe "EXP"(LOL, as video-game-ish as it sounds, I'll explain below)...
Then with some complicated formula, LB takes into account how many battles you've had, your EXP, your win percentage, how often you win by a landslide, etc etc, and give you a rank after hitting X experience, X battles, X wins..
"Rookie" would be the default rank, 0-0 record
"Novice" would be like at least a winning record
"Intermediate" would be a winning record by a higher percent
"Expert" would mean you win 2x more than you lose.
"Pro" would mean you have a good win %, over the course of ___ battles (lets say 100)
then "Legend" would be the rank you get when you hit a milestone, ie; 300 total battles w/ at least 90% win percentage.
PLACING EMCEES INTO A DIVISION:
Based on how many stars someone is rated & the votes they get on battles...Obviously someone that averages 6's or 7's on their battle verses wont be a heavyweight...but they might cut Lightweight Division..Then if you average 7's or 8's you could be in the Middleweight Division..and someone that averages 9's and 10's (Which would be pretty hard to get a 9 or 10 CONSISTENTLY) would be considered a Heavyweight.
I put a lot of thought into these concepts...But maybe someone with the power to make this happen is reading.. *cough* X *cough*
Let me know what you guys think & what you would change.
