One thing that I'm strongly against being nameplay is when someone uses general letter scrambling to have a 'cooler' name. Such as:-

Eleagle being Illegal
Strata G being Strategy
Deville being Devil

Then the opponant considers it as wordplay when they say the sounding word. Yes, it is nameplay, in the regular fashion, but i've seen people be very proud of themselves for coming up with the comparrison of "Eleagle" with "Illegal" like it was not an obvious intended name scramble.
