A few reasons.

1) Most think you're a multi account of someone else.
2) Some wanna see if you're worth their time battling/don't wanna waste time battling someone who'll turn out to be wack as fuck and just be a waste of their creativity.
3) People just aren't active at the time of you posting.
4) Combination of all the above.

I'd say reply to a few battles that are posted, this way you'll be able to showcase yourself and your level etc.. which will help in battles being taken next time.
