What Zez said.

You say it's "black culture"....why race? If the music has origins to let's just say some shit like Nigeria, why can't it be Nigerian culture? I'm not out here claiming that German folk dancing is white culture.

It's the need to make everything about race. Its a music style. Just like you don't need to mention white culture when a black person makes a country song or whatever, you don't need to mention black people when Eminem raps. It's music, a medium that transcends race. Just like art, television and writing. Just because the dudes who started it were a certain colour does not mean their skin colour is the important aspect. No ones our here like "Theatre is bald dude culture" cause of Shakespeare.
