A lotta people felt this way about Dave Brubeck when Jazz was younger. But much the same way as with Eminem he was embraced by most of the black
Goats and pioneers and now 50 years later he’s thought of as revolutionary instead of a guest. Once the OGs like Lord Jamar start to die off and have less of a voice at the forefront, this won’t be a thing anymore. It’s not the first time a white American has been exceptional at making his own version of music that was created by African Americans.
