You don't need this bollocks self help shit. The only time you need this is when you can't be bothered getting up off your ass to go and do it. You take your life advice from a Monday morning tweet from the morbidly obese probable rapist Joey Diaz and spend your day reading the self help books that their authors wouldn't have read in a million years.

You don't need advice like "Believe in yourself", "Wake up at 5am", "While you're sleeping someone else is going to get it". Fuck off. If you think lazy people haven't had an enormous amount of success you're not looking right.

If you're trying to be an artist, or entertainer etc. it's simple. Work on your talents to get them good enough, take opportunities, and hope that luck eventually finds you or you'll be living broke forever. Artistry is literally just a waiting game and the reason people drop off is either because they can't or won't wait any longer.
Agreed lol because my ass ain't walking up at 5 am to write a lyrics lmao.

But not everyone's the same. Some people can use the extra push when it comes to what to do or how to do it. Not referring to "self help, find yourself first". I agree that's far fetched but motivating someone to get them to stay on top of their game is what most really mean. For me, it take certain events and shit for me to realize how lazy I am. Gives me a push.
