I think the punch itself isn't my favourite concept in the world, but a comment ILLoKWENT had on a battle of mine always stuck with me; if you can clown and insult your opponent...its a punchline. It doesn't matter if its a statement or flip, as long as it lands, its a punch.

I like to think Ive refined that since then but if something is a "funny bar" I dont care it has wordplay, gunplay, nameplay blah blah, its a punchline.
