Do people have to adhere to battle descriptions on an openly posted battle?

I mean, if you want to have a themed battle, why not find someone who's down for it and just send to them directly? Why is it ok to post an open battle and basically demand someone follows your concept or else face an "auto L" from voters for going "off concept"?

Is this a serious thread bro?
Why even have a battle description if people can't drop one as an open?
If you accept an open battle knowing there is a description, and you refuse to follow such description why accept it anyway?
So, yes - if you accept an open battle and don't follow the description I will automatically vote against you because you think you don't have to follow the rules.
This shouldn't even be a discussion.
