Honestly, I don't feel like a forum site really connects with new users. Most people these days enjoy an immediate response. I understand the difficulty of policing it but really this is a rap battle site. There can't be that much you can say that is off limits.
A big problem of the forum style is that you don't know these characters when you first show up here. The chatbox makes you immediately acquainted with some of these fools and the drama.
