I'll take the most popular guy from each sample crew; Edgeworth, Seul, Aggo (Punk's maybe not as active) and Row. I'll look at how many votes they'd be potentially missing out from the guys in their crews:-

On average, with these random crews, you'd lose 3.25 votes per 5 battles (0.65 votes per battle).
Doing shit like this would turn a lot of people that are fairly inactive voters into active voters, so I feel you could expect at least 1 fresh vote per battle. Hell if I promised to vote on all your battles, only the 4 in my crew would need 1 extra vote which is very doable.
