Okay, to this point, sure, KG's fine and all. But, as previously expressed, this is as much about the protection of the adult userbase as it is the child userbase. It's not only that, either, as this isn't about deterring "fragile souls." It's about deterring minors from adult content, regardless of their fragility.

Do you think a thirteen year old is reading a privacy policy, or terms of condition page? Moreover, do you think they're showing it to a parent? This highlights another prime example as to why there should be this deterrence. Maturity. A child will undoubtedly not be mature enough to take these sorts of guidelines into account when making their profile.
