Let's be honest, nothing can be done to revive the site at this point.

The biggest opportunity was missed back when Shady Records did this whole Total Slaughter thingy, which brought battle rap a whole new amount of attention.

What did we do? We tried to make our battle league. Yea, we had a monopoly and said fuck that let's go and compete with KOTD (the league that brings in Drake in attendance...ye).

Now don't get me wrong, these live battles from LB people did bring in some traffic, but the product has been neglected for so long that none of these dude's that signed up stuck around. Let's face it, the site is to complicated for the average idiot to figure out, features where broken, and all these new people joined a community that was not fucked to drop 8 lines in a textbox due to being upset with management for so long.

Fun fact, I remember speaking with Pugz during that time and I told him 'yo, what about Conceited?', you know, the LB guy who was popping like mad at the time due to being involved with Nick Cannon and Co.? Apparently, Pugz spoke to him and Conceited agreed to promote the site for 2k (wearing an LB T-shirt in his next battle etc.) but i guess this never happened either.

So, since we missed the opportunity then to produce some loyal members (like the site had always done, produce loyal members), there is no way in doing it now. The hype for battle rap ain't the same and people would rather spend their free time playing Fortnight rather than hang out with 10 nerds
