I'm not sure I'd call certain flipping biting. I think some ppl are getting tripped up on that. You could see somethin bout a lumberjack being the reference for a pun and then think of your own flip on lumberjacks.. So as long as there are no similarities (besides referencing a lumberjack, obviously) I don't really see a problem with it. Also, there are definitely cases where people innocently have similar flips mostly because they're sticking to a generic / uncreative formula of thinking out puns.. Or they might even read / hear a line and subconsciously bite it which isn't an excuse still.
