Here's something you guys might not have thought of that this might allow that wouldn't have been before. Say I want to battle @Student. I don't because then I'd have to actually interact with his lyrics, but let's say I did. With this he and I could post our battle as both text and audio. Maybe Student out writes me but I kill him on the mic. Maybe it goes the other way. I think it would be a neat thing to try out and see what happens.


This could also, potentially, give some of the text guys who aren't necessarily great on the mic an excuse to exercise that skill a little more and get better at it.
This is the best point made so far for all in favor of using text for audio.
The time restraint idea would be another thing mods would have to monitor, etc etc, but could work.

Im leaning towards being against this, but the idea of it potentially breathing life into the audio section makes it appealing. Id say yes for that point alone.
