As the new Topical Moderator, I'm charged with resurrecting LB's topical side. To do that, I'm hosting a weekly topical league. It's simple: you sign up, you get paired at random, I give you a concept, you submit your verses, you win or lose, and I keep your record. If you don't know what a topical is, check out Dono's excellent thread: http://www.letsbeef.com/forums/showthread.php?t=111399 In short, you're given a topic, and you write a poetry-rap verse about it.

As I settle in to my role, I'll add in themes, gimmicks, more complex competitions, and maybe awards/rewards. For now, I'm just doing this.

Topicals will be due by Saturday, December 5, at midnight (CST, GMT/UTC -6:00). We will start on December 2, whenever I get around to posting the battles.

To sign up, post "sign me up" or the like in this thread, or contact me directly with the same. If you're new to topicals and want advice, or have any questions, don't hesitate to contact me.
