I've been keeping an eye on Tesla for a while now. Did a lil report on it for this marketing class in college and everything. Very interesting company. They have a few recharge stations scattered around the tri state area, but its not worth owning for a lot of people..they're starting to add some here in NJ, or at least they've been approved...but there's like 4-5 charging stations in my tri state area or something

basically If I were to have a Tesla, I'd have to drive like 2 hrs away or some wild shit like that to recharge my shit

The same with anyone I know that has one. As long as I can afford one, the ultimate driving machine will be parked outside

Then last year I got rid of my 2005 yukon Denali and got a certified preowned 2011 tahoe with 17k miles on it. Great for the weather we've been having lately and seems mechanically sound so far, but about a month ago I noticed that a crack was forming on the top of the dash. After doing some research I learned it is a common problem with that truck and when I went to the dealer they acted like they had never seen that before and said it would cost 1200 to fix because the entire dash has to be replaced and its considered cosmetic not mechanical so it isn't covered by any warranty. After flipping out and making a scene they then told me I'd hafta pay $211 for the part and they'd do the labor for free. I'll probably stick with American made trucks in the future but I wouldn't go back to that dealer if they gave me a car for free. It's the principality as big worm would say
I had a Buick truck and it gave me a ton of problems..granted, it was an '06 model and a lot of the problems started poppin up in 2012, so it was already 6 yrs old...still, that's way too soon for a car to start fucking up imo. there's a Toyota Corolla we have in my home country (dominican republic) that's lasted us a good 20 years. it's a similar story with people I know that have Hondas.

i have a German car now and its been treating me well...but at the same time i recently purchased it so idk
