I would choose being the richest man in the world... and I don't think that's a self-centered choice at all. Why?
Look at how much it costs to save one person's life. Covering somebody's medical bills, providing food or shelter to a homeless person, feeding a starving child in Africa. Doing this, especially on a mass scale, is far out of reach for an ordinary person, but for the bank account I would have as "the richest man in the world" (let's assume on a total net worth of ~90 billion USD, going off Bill Gates' wealth of ~81.5) would be enough to save the lives of many, many people, even after considering all the things I would do for myself.
Yes, I would definitely miss some of my friends and family members who have died. I love them, and I wish they were still here. But, ultimately, the power I would have to perform philanthropic acts without even blinking just overtakes that.
