I like the idea. It's every man for himself even within the same crew. You can always depend on people to be loyal to themselves rather than to their crew, so this seems more feasible than just a regular draft cause you'd have to defeat members of your own crew to collect the badges and your goal is to collect all 8 badges to challenge for the championship. Thus, there would even be strategy involved in terms of which crew you join and in what order. In a regular crew draft, you're trying to join the team with the strongest battlers so y'all have a better chance of winning against other crews. In this case, that may not necessarily be so. A stronger crew may mean it takes you longer to get a chance to challenge the leader and earn a badge.
