Would we retain our record when signing in, and out?

Why must one sacrifice one for the other, though? Why not take the league idea, and combine it with PPVs? Have a year long standing.(12 months, same number of battles.) Then you can retain the once a month battling experience of the PPV, while using a league format. I think you'll have a lot of activity issues with once a week battles, personally. Not that you won't with a PP style format, but, it will be more pervasive, and apparent on a weekly basis.
