Verse 1 took the infintile angle of the image when you look at the dummy "pacifier"

Verse 2 took the more littleral and obvious angle.

I tHought the whole letter thing was silly in execution.

Maybe I'm narrow manded and too rooted in reality for it to NOT irk me

Especially when the now grown mans writing back to his teddy under his bed he supposidly didn't know was there for donkeys years.

If he was selling and still lived at home better believe he had some reason to look under there at 1 point.

Both had good points as well as aspects that irked me when reading but I'm going with verse 2. I thought the ending was a nice way to go out.
