A graphics card is basically a processor all on its own. It doesn't work on appearance only, it's to do with frame rate and graphics-based processing memory. Imagine having two core processors.

I get absolutely NO frame rate on my PS3, with the exception of that one thing in EVERY Fifa 13 match lol.
Fallout New Vegas was okay imo. I havent got through it yet.
