If EA doesn't make good sports games then you must have access to a ton of sports games made by publishers that shit on EA's. EA doesn't do basketball, Take-Two(2k games/Rockstar games) makes 2k and after YEARS of having a monopoly on NBA games, the company that made NBA Live came back and their game flopped horribly

Who's gonna make EA look bad in soccer or football?

I don't see it happening. & I definitely don't see EA putting out a worse UFC game than THQ. I've played all the UFC video games. this EA game looks much more promising. & @Dave they might buckle with every kick but its a game....ideally they should have every motion and mannerism down pat, but that's ideally, and we don't live in an ideal world. All the gripes you have with an MMA game are akin to gripes people have with the 'realism' of FPS games or other games. those gripes exist across the board.

& LOL if you think Watch Dogs looks good you probably haven't played many good games

Watch Dogs is a copypaste of GTA + hacks + half as immersive + half as good. Don't try to sell me on hype...I was the same nigga tellin everybody in my area that GTA V was decent but is a good 2-3 years behind. Told everybody they'd get over it in like a month or 2..after they assured me it was the greatest shit since water....surely, niggas sold their shit back or put it down a month or two later lol

Only reason Madden sells so well is because they have sole rights to the NFL brand. 2K blew them out of the water with 2k5 so EA instead of making a better game just bought the license to wipe out the competition.

Look at NBA live. Another EA game 2K wiped the floor with. EA are absolute garbage.

And Fifa fucking sucks, but again. it has no viable competition.
I didn't see Pulse mention FIFA and I was going to be like "Not a chance Madden outsells it" and looked it up and everything, smh lol.

I disagree with Just C and agree with you though. EA makes the only good sports games. Just C is a Pro Evo guy though. He prefers to play with bad graphics and no licencing, and will claim gameplay over and over again when really that's a matter of subjection. I personally think Fifa 14's gameplay absolutely smashes Pro Evo's, but he would disagree strongly (I don't like Fifa 14 either).

I agree with you about making it fun, but I feel THQ had a good balance. I was killing it online and all that stuff for ages, and only recently I learned how to effectively strike from the bottom. I was able to successfully play the game while not even learning half of the subtle skills. I play tournament with my brother a lot. If I go Anderson, I'm dropping my hands and moving my head, taunting a lot. If I'm Chael, I'm taking him down, holding him there, and trying not to be stood up. If I'm Mir, I'll put him against the cage, beat him up, and eventually look to take it down for the sub. A lot more options that EA will allow. Besides a MUCH better looking presentation from EA, the HUGE aspect it has over UFC is flash knockouts. There was soooo little of it in UFC. I'd say I've played maybe near to 1000 games, and have probably seen less then 20 fights finish flash. I really like that aspect of EA's versions.

And don't get me wrong, I played a lot of EA MMA and would probably be playing it now if my specific disk didnt stall in the installation process. Was a very fun game, specifically with people who didn't know quite as much about it. I'd make strikers, go to Brazil, and fight for the entire time, jst landing my jab and both fighters getting absolutely battered. Will be a cool combination with the longevity thing in EA UFC.

With Watch Dogs, it's going to be pretty good. It won't be revolutionary. You can see VERY clearly from the videos that the driving is as good as any open world non-GTA game. It looks like LA Noire or Saints Row, in that the handling is terrible. GTA 4 had the best to me, because the cars were VERY grounded and felt stiff, but you could open them up if you really got the opportunity. GTA 5 was pretty good but I think they went a bit overboard with the speed of the cars and the very relaxed handling. Watch Dogs will just be like every other Wheelman or whatever other shit game in that respect.

The storymode will be okay, but Chicago with a pretty boring seeming character won;t exactly be CJ trying to save Sweet in San Andreas. The hacking will be AWESOME for a while, but will slowly become a bit repetitive. Also, it's being hailed for it's innovation, but the whole hacking from a distance thing has been touched on by Splinter Cell a few times. I remember some old awesome James Bond game had a bit of it too. It will be a solid enough all round game though. Online seems awesome but won't get the credit it deserves and won't be all that enjoyable, a bit like GTA 5 or Assassin's Creed 3.
