A lot of "us" MMA fans have a good few gripes with it.
The action is WAAAY too fast. It's the exact same as EA MMA in most of it's issues. The reaction to punches is too much. If someone buckles from a body kick irl, they'll probably be finished quite soon. In EA UFC, they buckle on every kick. The grappling system is waaaay too simple. The focus is clearly on striking for the casual fans who aren't as interested in the technical stuff. There are also a lot of people annoyed that all of the techniques on the submissions are wrong. They never got a BJJ guy in to advice, so basically it was a bunch of Game Designers (damn cunts!) that were assuming they knew how the submissions were supposed to be performed.
The plus sides are the crazy good graphics, specifically on the fighters faces and actions. The whole presentation seems really authentic. In career mode, the Fight Night specific move points are back which is cool. I also love the "longevity" shit, in that if you just stand toe to toe then you'll eventually become the Chris Leben / Wanderlei Silva of the promotion.
One thing that's shocking is dudes like Travis Browne, Josh Barnett, Tyrone Woodley and Stefan Struve arent in the game.
