Default Scheme Tournament #3: Bracket Finalists Prediction

Bracket Finalists Prediction

This is more or less an open thread for everyone to discuss their predictions for the top and bottom bracket semi-finalists and then an extended prediction on who will make it to the finals. It seems as if the forums are a bit inactive and everyone is working on their verses but I don't want anyone falling asleep.

As I'm in the tournament, I don't want to do a full prediction due to bias. But I'll do a prediction for the bottom bracket.

Bottom Bracket Semi-Final:

[@GOOD GRIEF vs. @Rican]

Two of the best battlers in that bracket. With @reEFer and @Dissizit out of the picture, I feel this is the inevitable result. Obey vs. Rican is a damn close bout, so it's still up in the air. From the beginning, based on form and his first round performance: I've had Grief pegged as one of my favourites. Rican could take him down but it's going to be a challenge. Stylistically, they're at opposite ends of the spectrum. Grief has more a simplistic, no-bullshit style of delivering punchlines. He maintains complexity in his concepts but has a very clear and sharp way of executing them which makes for a smooth and eyebrow-raising read. Rican utilises a more convoluted form of complexity which presses for a certain thought process during the read, somewhat a mental buildup to the punch itself. It's a bout that I'm really looking forward to for the aforementioned reasons. Two of the most established battlers in each style of battling.

Drop your predictions.
