no.. that's a myth
a spider's intelligent and is arithmetically smart enough to build a complex web and is pretty much a reckoned predator in it's field (rivals centipedes), they like moisture yes but they arent gonna slide down into a humid air inhaling/exhaling living organism a few hundred/thousand times it's size (i's nature to run or avoid somthing so colossal in size in comparison)
