Starting back up my reviews, and originally I was going to go into some older music but I think that in listening to the new music, I’ll be able to bandwagon onto someone which we all love doing.
For this, I’m going to review LoveRanch’s Freak of the Industry. This was a free EP released in 2012, and from the looks of things, LR hasn’t really dropped anything since. This will either be a “That’s a shame” or a “Thank god” moment, depending on how much swag he claims to have.
Song 1, and Mr. Love is claiming to be a “California Stunna”. You all know my opinions on stuff like this…
Next song features Tyga, or as I call him, 2pac 2.0. I HATE music that comprises of a guy saying “Hey!, Hey!, Hey! In the background. The song is called AkUp. I don’t know what this means. I guess I’m not hood enough.
Clyde Carson features on a fairly bad song, but seems like a pretty okay rapper. I might check him out next.
I hate how guys like DJ Skee spam the fuck out of this shit.
50 Cent featuring on this shows how irrelevant he’s come. He’s not like Snoop who can help build up guys by attaching his name. This is actually Fiddy trying, shit’s sad.
Social Network is the most listenable song so far. But shit’s crossing the line between a song for sex and a song for being a pervert. “Bend her over…BUST IT OPENED”. No thanks…
3 songs about fucking bitches in a row. This shit changed quick.
“Rollin’” ranks in my least favourite songs.
Overall, this was a pretty bad album to me. Completely new school, complete with monotone voice and annoying references. Not my shit at all.
