You guys have to stop dissing people for their opinion on music. I get it, I don't like it, but I get the appeal. Rap music was not founded on lyrics, so when you guys diss the words of the new rappers, you can't say they are the ones who have lost their roots. Rap is a music, a rhythem. You think the beats are not good? I'm sure the generation before you will not agree that your favourite rapper is the best artist ever although you do.
At the same time, people of new age rap have to stop speaking of how great their favourites are. You need to stop telling us lil wayne is complex beyond our comprehention and that drake is on another new level, they are both out for money, as every other artist is.
Best lyrics is in underground music, but the best rappers are mainstream, wether new or old. Rap was created on music, not words, maybe there is no skill in it, but that's just the way it is.

Mainstream = Rappers
only thing I hate is, If you wanna sing about love or make club music. take yo ass back to R&B or Techno.

- tracks are being judged on how much money they make.

Im an Emcee, I hate mainstream because it has shifted from Hip Hop with substance and meaning into RnB, the beats are the same with different synthesizer progression topped off with T-Pain doing some autotune with a hint of "Aye."
I'm fine with being called a hater, I just stick to 90's and Underground
everything else can eat a dick.
