Summary

This is a very special induction being that i get to write up my good friend's Hall of Fame thread and he goes by the name Manhattan. The guy who registered in 2011 under the name "ShotsFired". Also the guy who named himself GlockWorkOrange in 2012. Yes its true, that was his name and thank God he changed it to Manhattan. Just imagine telling someone, "oh GlockWorkOrange? Yes thats our Grand Champion." Haha, like what in the Rap Royalty alumni kindve name is that? All Jokes aside, Manhattan has been known as a Heavyweight since before the first announcement of V4. My guy won his first official title in 2015 which was the Concept Championship. A year later, he brung home a Tag Team Title in 2016 and then a Grand Championship title in 2017 underneath his multi account that he named "ShotsFired" after his original LB name. Manhattan became one of my favourite battlers here on letsbeef when he defeated me in a tournament where I was so confident that I'd win, and he just ran right through me with ease. This man took down letsbeef GREATS back when they still considered him one of the "New Heads". He's been one of the most consistent emcees to ever step foot into text arena so I am VERY excited about this induction.

Known Multi Accounts & Aliases

When it comes down to multi accounts that made huge impacts, Manhattan's multi "ShotsFired" is arguably the most talked about and legendary. ShotsFired sits with only a few multis thats won a Grand Championship.

Crew Afflications

Manhattan held a leader spot in every big name crew he was a part of. You cant deny his leadership skills and ability to make his team or anyone around him better. Manhattan made you wanna write better just to impress him and i believe we shared crews 1 time? Can't remember but it was with LoD. Trying to keep up with the guys that were considered the same tier as me was already a challenge but to find out that I had to keep up with Manny? It was a pain in my neck haha. But here are the crews that Manny was most known in.

Present: Legion of Doom (https://www.letsbeef.com/mycrew.php?crewID=2182) (Leader)
Past:
Lethal Dosez (https://www.letsbeef.com/mycrew.php?crewID=2570) (Leader)
Da Illest Emceez (https://www.letsbeef.com/mycrew.php?crewID=2544) (Leader)
Turnbull AC's (https://www.letsbeef.com/mycrew.php?crewID=1007) (Leader)

Most Acclaimed Victories

When we speak about Heavyweight fights, we can argue all day long about what fights are considered classics or this person wasn't as good as the next guy; but if anyone was to debate against Manhattan being one of the greatest heavyweights on the site, 9/10 he completely washed them in a battle. Dont believe me? Take a look at some of these big wins.

Site Impact

The fact that Manny earned more than 98% of the nomination votes, legit no one could ever deny his accomplishments here on letsbeef or how much he inspire. When you have new comers being told things like "if you wanna know the format and learn how to write a proper punch, check out some of Manhattans battles." you're officially one of the greatests of all time. A simple, yet very creative style thats easy to understand but hard to beat. Manny set the blueprints on how to quickly elevate into your own self while keeping your audience captivated. When site members put their top lists together, Manny is one that'll never miss a single list. Before ANYONE goes to knock my brother Manny, ask yourself. What did he teach you? What would we do without guys like Manhattan? How do we show him the amount of appreciation that he deserves instead of a simple "Thank You"? Please help me induct my friend & your favourite battler into the Hall of Fame.

Letsbeef Speaks

For fuck sakes GlockWork, got me all emo and shit writing this up haha. Anyways, brother. I wanna thank you for inspiring me to become a better writer and taking battling a bit more serious.even when these idiots were against you with the bullshit stories, I've always trusted your word and respected you as a person on and off of the site. So happy I could write this induction up and hope you keep on killing shit around here. Lastly, as a wise yet weird asf man once said, haha.. Star Gazing like Carl Sagan!!!! - Punk (https://www.letsbeef.com/forums/member.php?u=907420)

Manhattan has been around for awhile and when I started battling in 2013 he was already basically heavyweight status. He helped me a lot with elevation after I had a battle with him that got over 20 votes, it was what motivated me as a rookie to continue battling and improve. It is clear to see when looking at his victories over other heavyweights why he deserves to be in the text hall of fame. When looking at his style, he was definitely a punch heavy battler. He is renowned for his signature style consisting of strong creative concepts and fitting a large amount of punches in his verse without filler. A well deserved spot in the hall of fame, and upcoming battlers should take a look at his verses to see what a proper verse should consist of. - Subreal ( https://www.letsbeef.com/forums/member.php?u=872395)
