Summary
Phil Banks joined Letsbeef in early 2012, and immediately began a murder spree on the audio section that lasted an entire year. Never before have we seen someone join the site, and dominate so quickly and in such a short space of time. By the end of the same year that Phil had joined the site, he was already half way towards retirement. In less than 10 months, Phil had won both the LBA Championship (becoming the sites first ever LBA Champion) and ended 2012 by capturing the audio Grand Championship, defeating Hall Of Famer Erupt in the final. While Phil rarely battled in the basic arena after this year of dominance, he did however enter two more tournaments, winning both to become a two-time Grand Champion and adding the Scheme Championship to his resume. What really separated Phil from the rest of the audio heavyweights of his era, was his willingness to match wits against some of the sites top text battlers. With Audio heads often cited as not testing themselves against the penmanship of the sites textcees, Phil welcomed the challenge and defeated many text battling heavyweights. Not only did Phil have the single most dominate solo year of any audio battler before him, he also went on to co-create the now Hall Of Fame crew: Legion Of Doom. LoD became a powerhouse in all aspects of the site. Phil's final achievement, was that in four high-caliber tournaments, he never once was beaten, leaving him to this day, undefeated in tournament battles.

Phil Banks was a whirlwind on this site. Crafting such a big legacy in such a short time. Along with the success he racked up on Letsbeef, Phil also helped break the audio battler stigma that had hovered over letsbeef by raising the standard of penmanship found in audio verses.
What should also never be discounted is Phil's impact as a member of the staff. Taking on a Moderator and then Head Moderator role, helping to lead Letsbeef through difficult times.

"To keep it short but sweet, Phil is possibly the greatest of all time. And i dont say that shit lightly. During a time when audio heads had a bad reputation for having weak pens and being plastered with buddy voting, Phil came out and let the bars do the talking. And to be real he put 99% of the audio heads to shame with his pen game. And shieeeeet he had probably the greatest debut year of anyone ever.
